Weather can change in an instant, don’t leave your runners unprotected in the cold.
Our partners in Philadelphia realized this firsthand this week as the weather took a turn for the worse at the 37th annual Blue Cross Broad Street Run, held Sunday, May 1.
While they had an existing inventory of roughly 15,000 race blankets on hand, Heatsheets fulfilled a last minute order for 20,000 more race blankets ensuring that more than 40,000 runners were not left in the cold on race day.
Because we proudly produce, print and convert Heatsheets in the United States, our team was able to overnight the shipment!
According to the Blue Cross Broad Street Run race director, “Race time weather was in the upper 40s and the high only got to the low 50s as racers finished. [The additional Heatsheets blankets] arrived on time and were deeply appreciated by all of our runners. Thank you for making it happen!”
Heatsheets Classic Blankets feature usage instructions to keep users protected from virtually any weather. They can be used silver side in for cold weather, reflecting up to 90% of the user’s body heat back to them, or silver side out in warm weather, reflecting heat away from the user to allow the body to stay cool.
Order Heatsheets Classic Blankets today for your starting line or finish line. And don’t forget they can also protect your race day spectators and volunteers too!
Congratulations to all the runners who crossed the Blue Cross Broad Street Run finish line! We’re proud to deliver on our promise of exceptional service to our customers and the race community.
