The 2015 TCS New York City Marathon was one for the record books for the Heatsheets® team! We launched our product in 1980 at the New York City Marathon and this weekend we were back in the Big Apple and celebrated our 35th anniversary in the industry.
And as icing on the cake – the New York Times featured Heatsheets in an article highlighting how our product has become synonymous with the marathon industry. Click here to read the full article – but spoiler alert: Marathoners like Marie Bartoletti love Heatsheets.
Having completed the New York Marathon for the 11th time, Bartoletti described Heatsheets as the “best thing ever.” Bartoletti has an emergency supply of about a dozen at home and she even keeps one in her glove box in case her car breaks down.
That’s the kind of loyalty that has made Heatsheets an industry staple.
We’ll be looking for Marie at the next finish line. And until then, join us in our celebration and share the NY Times article, “Lightweight Blankets with a Big Footprint at the Marathon,” via our twitter or facebook .
