President of Heatsheets, Chris Falk, talks to Chicago’s NBC affiliate about how Heatsheets products helped out at this year’s frigid and wet Boston Marathon and what’s in store for the future of the brand.
From NBC 5 Chicago:
Neither Rain Nor Cold Will Stop Boston Marathoners
Heatsheets took NASA’s heat reflective insulation technology and created an insulated blanket for endurance events, outdoor enthusiasts, and military applications. Heatsheets were used at this year’s Boston Marathon to protect runners from rain and cold. It’s been 35 years since Heatsheets introduced the first blanket at the New York City Marathon. President Chris Falk plans to expand the product line to new markets, including the spectator market. Hello, Soldier Field!
