It was a rainy weekend, but that didn’t stop runners from crushing their PR’s and powering through races! Heatsheets served up some brotherly love to the Blue Cross Broad Street Run by overnighting an additional shipment of 20,000 race blankets, ensuring that no runner was left in the cold at the finish line. Heatsheets also kept runners covered at the Illinois Marathon, Derby Festival Marathon and Pittsburgh Marathon!
In its 8th year, the Illinois Marathon has a race for everyone. The race weekend included a full marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, 10K, 5K and a youth run. The Illinois Marathon also gives runners the opportunity to run for one of the 14 charities selected, including American Heart Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Champaign Country Humane Society and more! Nothing pushes you more to the finish line than knowing you’re running for a reason. The beautiful flat course ends inside the Memorial Stadium ensuring an unforgettable finish line experience.
We love helping runners celebrate their success! Check out these awesome racers at the finish line.
