The 9th annual Canada Army Run was this past weekend, where 23,000+ men, women, and children ran to honor the Canadian Armed Forces – Air Force, Army, and Navy. It was a great chance to experience the military esprit de corps and for the troops to thank their fellow Canadians for their unyielding support. When runners crossed the finish line they were graced with Army style “dog tags” and some even donned Heatsheets. We are proud to be a part of such a community driven event.
Congratulations on crossing the finish line! @itisdm94, @breakwood97, @bianca.paquette, @ loriannet5, @26.2orbust, @rae_allez, @sarahstephens_, @_jhoanna_, @nancy_fit4life
Participants ran in memory of loved ones who spent their careers in the military or lost their lives in the line of duty as well as honoring those in the military today. The 5k and half marathon events are special as Canada’s injured soldiers participate to show the true meaning of “soldiering on”.
From the team at Heatsheets we’d like to personally thank the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces for their bravery and continued service.
