Race Recap: Williams Route 66 Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon, and the Berkeley Half

The historic and scenic trails of the Boston-qualifying race offer runners some of the best views of Tulsa. The Williams Route 66 Marathon is also a USA Track & Field (USATF) certified course. Runners were able to enjoy the Health and Fitness Expo held prior to race day, where they could grab running gear and shoes, as well as sports and fitness and sustainability-type items.

Big congratulations to Jason Butler of Oklahoma for taking home the first prize medal in the men’s division and Kayla Brown of Edwardsville, ranking first in the women’s division.

Heatsheets had a blast getting our “kicks on Route 66” (name that tune). Thank you guys for #ShowingUsYourHeatsheets @amandapope22, @designsbykatierose, @heartland_running

The Philadelphia Marathon has made a name for itself because of its warm weather, flat terrain and many spirited fans. The course showcases views of Fairmount Park and the infamous Schuylkill River.

Congrats to everyone who crossed the finish line, it’s always an honor to be with champions at the finish line.

The Berkeley Half celebrated the 4th running of the race and our blankets were privileged enough to be along for the ride.

Marathoners cruised along the beautiful waterfront course of the 13.1-mile race. Berkeley also teamed up with CrowdRise to help runners make their miles go a little bit further, charity funds raised went to the Berkeley Public Schools Fund.
