Happy Memorial Day, race fans! This long holiday weekend saw Heatsheets at the finish lines of the Buffalo Marathon and the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington, Vermont.

Late spring in the Northeast isn’t exactly warming blanket nor flip-and-reflect weather, but plenty of racers were still proud to sport their race blankets for finish photos in Vermont and New York.

Nothing like a new PR!

Vermont City Marathon was a tough one for me yesterday .. but managed to run a 3:19 (Garmin time) and finish 6th in my age division. And that means a 10 minute PR. I’ll take it.. ✔️ Couldn’t have gotten through this race without my family & Greg cheering me on and my girls @natalya_zahn, @eronwiernogi & @heatherschmidt_ for their support & encouragement the last 4 months. #vermontcitymarathon #runvermont
