This week on #TheWrap, we would like to congratulate all of the Canada Army Run Runners who completed the 5k or half marathon this weekend!
We were thrilled to be at the Canada Army Run finish line this year. From the cannon used as a “starter pistol” to the “dog-tag” medals soldiers place around all participants’ necks at the finish line, the race from start to finish was about Canadians and the Canadian Armed Forces- Air Force, Army, and Navy. The Army Run has raised more than $1.2 million in total for the charities Solider On and the Military Families Fund over the life of the event, an incredible accomplishment.
Again, congratulations to the Canada Army Run for a terrific race and to all the runners! Below are some of our favorite photos from the race. We hope to see you all next year at the finish line!
